PM Gilani felicitates Manmohan Singh on Indian Independence Day

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, felicitating his Indian counterpart Dr. Manmohan Singh on their Independence Day
falling on August 15, has reiterated his government’s commitment to improve relations with India. “It is a matter of great
pleasure for me to convey my warm felicitations to you and the people of India on the occasion of the Independence Day of
India”, Prime Minister Gilani said in message addressed to Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
The Prime Minister in his message said, “Let me take this opportunity to reiterate my government’s commitment to improve
relations with India by resolving all outstanding disputes between the two countries in a just and peaceful manner.”
“Please accept, Excellency, the assurance of my highest consideration,” the message concluded.
