Nawaz Sharif urges people to join hands for political, economic stability

Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif reiterating his determination to rebuild the nation urged
people to join hands to make the country politically and economically stable state. “Let’s join our hands together and
reaffirm to work hard to serve the nation and stabilize the destabilized economy,” Mian Nawaz Sharif said in a message to
the nation on Independence Day.
He sought people support to strengthen the democracy leaving no further room for dictatorship, prefer group harmony over
individualism, surmount every insurmountable through firm commitment and showing strong will to emerge across the globe as
a prosperous and developed nation.
“Once again let’s reaffirm our pledge on this day to be united for the sake of getting the real independence through
independent and transparent judiciary and to make the dream of the father of the nation a true reality.”
He congratulated the Nation and paid tributes to all those who had been scarifying their lives to make country’s future
brighter.
“My gratitude to those as well who have always burnt their blood by exerting their day and night efforts to set aside the
darks and making our dawns more pleasant and vigorous.”
He said 14th of August reminds country’s people a dream which envisioned a state having rule of law, social justice and
equal opportunities for every citizen irrelevant and regardless of their color, race and background.
He said although every 14th of August is a special day for the whole nation but this year’s independence celebrations are
of inevitable importance due to the overwhelming political scenario where all of the democratic forces are striving hard to
ensure a real transition towards democracy and to eradicate the roots of dictatorship forever, he added.
He said today the Pakistan and the Pakistani nation are at the defining moments when the entire civil society, political
workers, lawyers, media and youth are have set forth unprecedented standards through their uncompromised struggle for the
restoration of judiciary, supremacy of constitution, sovereignty of the parliament and the transition towards real
democracy.
